What happens if your a champion in a wrestling brand and then you get drafted to another brand?

Like if John Cena gets drafted to ECW and he still has the Raw championship belt? Does that make him the ECW champion? John Cena does NOT hold the RAW Championship Belt, it is the WWE Championship Belt.





Edge does NOT hold the SMACKDOWN Championship, it is The World Heavyweight Championship.





The World Heavyweight Championship started on RAW when Brock Lesner, (Then undisputed WWE Champion) Signed to wrestle on Smackdown exclusively, thus the beginning of the Brand Extensions. Then Raw GM Eric Bischoff revived the Old WCW World Title, called it the World Heavyweight Championship %26amp; GAVE IT TO HHH!!!





If you look back to the first time Ric Flair came to WWF (Back then, it was WWF), he brought HIS belt %26amp; showed it off on tv, but it was digitized so no one would see what it looked like. But The WHC Belt really belongs to Ric Flair|||No, it just means the wwe titles on ecw.|||maybe, they go on that show but still keep the title.|||ok, i am just going to come out and say this... THE DRAFT IS NOT RANDOM, some people may have yet to be chosen, but the champions are all figured out. If one is traded, then it will create a storyline but it is all figured out. almost nothing in the WWE happens without previous planning, not to say there are not accidents, but it is ALL PLANNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|||Sigh. If the champion does move shows, both the champion and their title go to the show they're drafted i.e. John Cena would take his WWE Title to ECW if he's drafted there and vice versa with Edge and Lashley. They did this two years ago with John Cena and Batista switching places. When Cena was drafted to Raw, he took the WWE Title and both Cena and Batista's title were on the line at the next PPV, and would have continued as such had Batista not been drafted.





However, I doubt it would happen this year, as again, it already happen. Of course, the writers could pull a fast one, so you never know.|||John Cena took the WWE Title from Smackdown to Raw, and Batista took the WHC from Raw to Smackdown during the last draft. So, no, you still keep the same belt with the same name.|||The belt goes with him|||no the raw title will remain vacent and bobby lashly will still remain ecw champ but i don't think thier gonna draft the champions very unlikely|||2 years ago cena was the wwe champ on smackdown then he got drafted to raw batista was the heavyweight champ on raw and got drafted to smackdown that ment that the wwe became a raw belt and the heavyweight became a smackdown belt if cena is drafted to ecw he would take the wwe belt with him and he would still b the wwe champ but it would be on ecw not raw
