What is the best champion brand dry dog food in Australia?

I'm looking for the best champion brand dry dog food you could get in Australia, I was going to import


orijen but i heard bad things about it from a friend. I am willing to pay $20 - $25 ( but its ok if you list ones over that). I Don't want anything from super markets or petstores because iv'e been reading the labels and they say contains colours and flavors. Can anyone please help me!





If it helps i want something for my border collie that competes in agility and needs to stay focused.|||Orijen isn't allow in australia, so you'll have a heck of trouble ordering it in-it been recalled from our shores. It killed half a dosen cat in 2006 while they had a trial, which ment it was banned from our shores. The ones that did survived, suffer from co-ordenation issues now.





Orijen has a little too much protein for my liking. Remember we don't have the same brands in australia, that american have, so what good for them maybe impossible for us to get.

Coles homebrand stuff, Lucky Dog, and Pedigree|||Artemis and Eagle Pack Holistic are about the best foods available in Australia.


If you want to feed a totally grain free food then Artemis Maximal is the way to go.





When you say you are prepared to pay $20-$25 you won't get a very big bag of food for that price.


I recently paid $29 - $30 for a 1.8kg bag of Artemis Maximal. It will last for ages because I feed a natural raw diet 90% of the time. Have you considered feeding a raw diet?





Read the ingredients on the bag of food and give a big miss to any food that is full of grains and fillers. You really get what you pay for with dog food. If you buy cheap food it contains cheap ingredients.


Foods such as Science Diet and Eukanuba are not good quality and are way overpriced.|||Hi dear

thanks|||I don't really know of any. Most foods in Aussie are no good. Try raw|||Ok. your best dog food is hill science diet.. but yaaa expensive!!! look honestly check out purina supercoat and Bonnie, those are the brands I stand by!
