Are champion brand shoes good for running track?

I've been using champion for 4 years and i was recently told that they are a bad running shoe. is this true? then what is a good brand of regular shoes and spikes?|||Champion is a really bad running shoe,defiantly. A good brand of regular running shoe would be Asics or Mizunos,they are both really good. For spikes I would recommend Asics,Mizuno or Saucony.
