What level pokemon should I use to beat the Pokemon Champion in Pokemon Pearl?

I beat all the leaders, and the elite four, but i can't defeat the champion. Any tips?|||I was able to beat the Elite4 with Pokemon in the lower level 50's. You'll need to have a good psychic type, a fighting type, water, fire and a grass (I reccomend more because there isn't as much use for a electric as a grass) My team was:

+Lucario

+Dialagia

+Girafrig

+Empoleon

+Rapidash

+Luxray|||i beat her with

infernape-Lv.57

gastradon-Lv.55

Roserade_Lv.55

Abomasnow-Lv.52

Chatot-Lv.54

luxray-lv.56

|||probably train to level 60 if you haven't. and if you chose chimchar as your starter, get a gastrodonor quagsire and a garchomp, if you got piplup then get a rapidash and a mr. mime, and if you chose turtwig get a rapidash and a garadoes or floatzel. all around level 60. i beat them with all three 3 starters lvl 60 but try to get a variety of types. for cynthia/ the champion, her milotic has a HUGE amount of HP so try to land it with grass or lightning type attacks. her roserade is easy. its kind of sad if you can't beat spiritomb. just hit him with some attacks that have around 100 damage. I know this can be a real pain but get a ice pokemon or a dragon pokemon because even with my lvl 73 dragonite, i still cant beat garchomp in 1 hit with dragon rush. lucario is pretty easy if you went to iron island and trained one yourself. if not, get a machoke or a machamp. i hope this info is useful|||u suk|||you should be at level 68|||in other pokemon games i use about 50-70 for the elite four|||Pokemon sucks, you need to get a life other then video games dude.|||I'd say a level 70 at least, so begin training now! I would recommend using your starter pokemon like chimcharr
