What's the difference between "super champion" and "regular" champion?

For ex, in the WBA, shane mosley is considered super champion, while Vyacheslav Senchenko is considered the regular champ. whats the diference?

BQ: whats "emeritus" champion?|||IMO, it's purely subjective.

boxers who possess extraordinary powers and abilities over their opponents and had dealt with unfathomable odds and win are maybe called as such.

btw, these super champions are not mutants. they are like us people, only they give not just heart but soul and passion in the game. Mosley would give up his pride to fight anyone, even go below weight and offer lower share(eg. against Pacquiao).

i think it's just a publicity to make the boxer more popular.

in chess there are masters, grandmasters, and super grandmasters; however they do count because they use a rating system to determine their level. that is objective and standardized. in boxing there is none that i can think of.

emeritus

/ɪˈmɛrɪtəs/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [i-mer-i-tuhs] Show IPA adjective, noun, plural -ti  /-ˌtaɪ, -ˌti/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [-tahy, -tee] Show IPA .

Use emeritus in a Sentence

–adjective 1. retired or honorably discharged from active professional duty, but retaining the title of one's office or position: dean emeritus of the graduate school; editor in chief emeritus.

–noun 2. an emeritus professor, minister, etc.

you will have an idea about an emeritus champion.

:|||It's all nonsense and new ways for the WBA to get a cut of these boxers money by dubbing them champs...too many belts....|||super champion is unified with other belts as well ,regular champ is not i think
