Is the Superbowl champion the only true World Champion in US professional team sports?

Baseball, basketball, hockey... there is a world championships tournament played elsewhere with the participation of professional players. Not one in football that I know of. So does that mean the NFL champion is really the only team that can call themselves world champs?|||It is common for U.S. sports to call themselves world champs when in fact they are only a league champion.

Baseball has always called their championship the World Series even before there were any teams outside the U.S.

There are no true world championships in U.S. leagues even in baseball and hockey because they only include U.S. and Canadian teams.|||You are right that the information on some sports might be sparse, but what really counts is actually the results. And as it seems people have very good results when they try ports Products Blog. And this is what really counts. For that reason i would recommend that you give it a shot.|||Well there actually r plenty of other teams in germany that play football but i think the rules r different it is football not rugby, so i think to be world champs the 2 champs of those leagues should play each other but thats just me|||Baseball has the World Series that does include international teams, Canada for instance.

Boxing includes boxers from all over, if they can stand up to America's true Champs
