2. Which champion got by on skill alone with very little charsima?
3. Which Champion had the perfect combination of skill and charisma?
I know lots of you may say Cena on question 1 but if you do you aren't really giving the question much thought.
1. Id go with The Ultimate Warrior
2. Chris Benoit and to some extent Bret Hart
3. Macho Man and the Rock.
What are your choices?|||1. Ultimate Warrior, no argument there. Also Kevin Nash (even less wrestling skills), Sid Vicious, and Hogan (showed very little skills in the WWF and WCW).
2. Benoit, for sure. Bret Hart, to a lesser degree. Lance Storm and Dean Malenko, as well.
3. Ric Flair is the immediate choice. Also, Shawn Michaels, Sting, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Terry Funk, Kurt Angle, and a whole lot more. But Flair above all else.|||Andre The Giant
*Not* i just liked him hes so old school|||they are closed minded,,,,,,,,,have their Hero,,,,but cant explain why.....great question!|||1. John Cena or Hulk Hogan
2. Bret Hart
3. Shawn Michaels or Triple H|||1. There are a bunch of champs who lack a moveset, including Cena. But that's because the WWE limits them, not because they suck... except Ultimate Warrior. He was horrible.
2. Chris Benoit (R.I.P)
3. The Rock, Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guererro (R.I.P)|||1.BRET HART
3.HBK|||1. Probably Warrior, although I'm not sure if you call what he had "charisma." Hogan can be partly added to this list too.
2. Chris Benoit, little charisma, yet somehow got to be a world champion. One of the few times where the WWE awarded based on skill and loyalty, instead of being basing decisions purely on the bottom line. Bret Hart to a degree as well.
3. Eddie Guerrero. Tremendous wrestling skills mixed with unbelieveable charisma, it's no wonder why he was arguably the most over wrestlers on the roster at the time of his death. I could also argue Austin for this one, he had great charisma and went from a great technical wrestler to a great brawler.|||If anyone says Cena to 1, they're just using it as an excuse to say he's crap. Besides, he hasn't got a huge deal of charisma anyway. But he's certainly not bad in the ring, he's not amazing; but as much as I would like to, I can't say he's awful. He's not The Great Khali, is he?
Aaaanyway
1) I'm going to stick my neck on the line with this one.... latter day Hulk Hogan. Hogan comes from the old school of wrestling, where technical ability didn't count for nearly as much as it did now, and pure strength, simple, brutal moves were the order of the day. So as times and styles changed, his skills became more underrated. He is not a technical wrestler at all, let's be honest. But his charisma is off the charts, Hogan is an icon. You say "WWF" or "Pro wrestling" to anyone, and they will say "Hulk Hogan" - and you get that through your charisma and presense, not your technical ability.
2) Hmmm, interesting. As you've already suggested Benoit, I'll see if I can think of someone else. Maybe JBL or Lesnar. Actually, no, not JBL, I dont really rate him as a wrestler. So I'll go with Lesnar. Actually, Goldberg. Both Lesnar and Goldberg had the charisma of a brick. Just somehow, Goldberg managed to make it come across as he was "Intense" and Lesnar just looked like a dumb lump of muscle. Incredibly talented, mind you. And JBL is better as Smackdown's commentator than as an in-ring competitor.
3) The Rock. For me, hands-down the best pro-wrestler full stop, though I dont have much experience of guys from the mid 80s and before. But The Rock cut the best promos, had incredible talent in the ring, and made nearly every match he was in worth seeing. Or maybe Shawn Micheals. I don't particularly like HBK, but he is another wrestler I think has charisma and talent. I still think the Rock is better.|||1. Hulk Hogan (Most of his skill, which he still had little of, was mostly shown in other countries); Sid Vicious is also up there.
2. Chris Benoit easily.
3. The Rock is a good example, but Ric Flair is higher IMO.|||1. *Snort* *Growl* *Snarl* Ultimate Warrior straight from parts unknown....*Snarl* *Snort*...
2. Benoit, easily. He was arguably the greatest wrestler of all-time, but he had no charisma, and little to no mic skills...But he still got over...
3. Hardest one. Kurt Angle, especially when he had hair..He oozed Charisma...And he was always a great heel.|||hulk hogan
harley race
the nature boy or american dream|||1. Diesel, Hogan, Warrior, Sgt. Slaughter
2. Chris Benoit. Bret Hart had charisma. You don't become one of the greatest and most popular superstars of all time without doing any death defying moves without some sort of charisma.
3. Kurt Angle is at the top of this list, HBK, Eddie Guererro, Jericho, and Booker T
4. This is the slot reserved for Yokozuna and Khali....who have neither|||1 has to be warrior he had almost no skill. he had so little skill when he won he IC title that the honky tonk man requested it be a squash so he didnt have to risk injuries.
2 again agree with you on benoit. although he had some charisma he had absolutely no mic skills.
3 hbk has tons of charisma and skils. theres actually alot for this question but hbk came to my mind first.|||1. Hulk Hogan
2. Chris Benoit or Ricky Steamboat
3. The Rock
Warrior is a good choice as well.
Bret I think had charisma but it was not shown until 1997.
Savage I thought was more charisma than anything.|||PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me that you know "wrestling" is fake.
